Robert Panzer, DDS, Orthodontist

Patient Information

your first visit

We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. At this appointment we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about orthodontic treatment. Each person’s orthodontic needs are different and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit will consist of an examination and discussion of possible treatment options, as well as if this is the proper time to begin treatment. The initial visit is a complimentary consultation.

If orthodontic records are taken, we will evaluate them and discuss our findings with you. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions regarding your orthodontic care.

Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. Frequent cancelled or missed appointments serve to delay completion of your treatment.

For your convenience we have evening appointments available.

financial information

It is our goal to provide you with the highest quality treatment in an affordable manner that fits your budget. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Please ask about payment plans. For your convenience we accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated portion must be paid at the time of service. Our courteous staff is always available to answer your questions.

As a convenience to our patients we currently participate in the following insurance plans: Aetna, Delta, Cigna, Metlife, and Oxford.

emergency information

Please call our office if something feels loose or broken. It may require you to come to see us or it may be something that can wait until your next scheduled visit. If we are not in when you call there is an emergency number that you will be given to contact the doctor.

If there is an irritation on your lip, tongue, or cheek, you can put a small piece of the wax we gave you on the offending part of the braces. If you run out of wax you can put a small piece of cotton on instead.
